Kid Friendly Meat Pockets Made With Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Getting two toddlers two sit down and eat a full healthy meal is next to impossible. I am always trying to come up with fun yet healthy options.

Here is the latest creation for the kiddos.

Kid Friendly Meat Pockets with Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.

I cooked 1 pound of beef with diced onions, red and green peppers. I added salt, pepper, parsley flakes, onion and garlic powder. Since this the first time making these, I wanted to center to be a bit plain in the hopes if the girls actually eating it.

Once fully cooked, I sprayed a muffin tin with non-stick spray. Crescent rolls come pre-rooted in triangles. I left two triangles together in a square and laid that in the pocket. I ended up having to use 1 1/2 tubes of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.

Each pocket was filled with meat and then sealed by pinches the ends together.

I baked them for 12 minutes at 350°.

I added some sharp cheddar cheese on top for some added flavor.

Both girls loved the little pockets. They were fun to eat since they got to use their hands. The meat and vegetables were wrapped in the flaky and fluffy crescent rolls.

These were such a hit with the girls, I will be making these again and testing out what I can sneak by with on the inside; more vegetables.
