Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge – Nature Walk

Little Miss and I went on a nature walk on Saturday at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge in Hudson, MA. The walks are mostly through the very quiet and peaceful woods that all seem to lead to the Assabet River. We were able to spot many types of plant and wild animals.

We spotted two geese that were taking off.

We spotted another two geese by a small walking bridge. We were able to slowly inch closer and closer to them.

It was a very relaxing and much-needed walk. Working full-time with two small kids, life gets busy and crazy and hectic. These moments when Little Miss and I can slow down and just enjoy each others company while taking in the beautiful world that surrounds us are the moments that I treasure most.

I also appreciate the geese for not attacking us and for posing for lovely pictures.
