What’s in my diaper bag

Now that Baby Z is four weeks old and we are starting to leave the house on small excursions I need to bring a diaper bag with me. Since she is an infant who is breastfeeding, there are not that many things that we need to bring out with us. As she gets older and starts to teethe and eat solid food we would need to pack much more than I have in my bag currently. For now here is what I take with me.

My diaper bag is the Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Logo Diaper Bag in brown. My lovely coworkers gave me this beautiful bag as a gift.

Wipes in a Huggies Travel Case. Pampers Swaddlers Diapers. One outfit which I keep in a Ziploc bag to keep it dry. Blanket and burp cloth.

Similac for Supplementation Ready to Feed Bottles, Pacifier in a Ziploc bag to keep it clean. Arm & Hammer by Munckin Diaper Bag Dispenser and Bags. A Target plastic bag that I can use for trash or wet clothes. Chapstick for me. The bag came with a changing mat. I also keep my wallet and keys in this bag to avoid having to carry a separate purse.

This bag has these straps on each side that hook around the stroller handles, so when walking around a store I do not have to carry the bag, but everything is still easily accessible. It also has a cross body strap, I removed that strap for now.

There are pockets on each side that house the stroller straps when they are not in use.

What I love about this bag, is that it doesn’t look like your typical diaper bag. Once I no longer need a diaper bag for Baby Z  I will still be able to carry this bag around!
