I had never eaten Naan before, but I have always wanted to eat at a traditional indian restaurant. I found this Naan recipe here and figured I would give it a try.Yeast mixture. Now all the wet ingredients. Wet and dry ingredients mixed together. Starting to get sticky. This is after I kneaded the dough for about 3 minutes. Set the dough aside to rise for 45 minutes. I put a hand towel over the bowl to keep in heat. It’s hard to tell, but the dough has risen, just about doubled in size. Cut the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll out each part just before placing into a hot and ready skillet. I sprayed just a mist of Non-Stick cooking spray. You can see the bubbles starting to form. They did not get as big as I had wanted too. Here is the final product. I will need to try this again. I think I may have rolled out the dough too much, which is why my bubbles were too small. Little Miss loved this bread and ate two pieces. Enjoy!
