Easy Homemade Dog Treats

I have two dogs that I love dearly. Brady is a 5 year old Yorkie, and Wes is a 6 month old Dachshund. Yes they were named after New England Patriots players. I got the privilege of picking the breed and the hubby got to pick the names.

I found this recipe for Homemade dog treats, so little miss and I made some.

All you need is flour, jars of baby food, and water.

I chose chicken and beef. I was hoping to make two batches, one of each but ended up mixing both jars, with one cup of flour, and 1 tablespoon of water. Just the one jar made it too dry to be a dough. Next time I will buy more jars.

After you mix the baby food, flour, and water together to make a ball of dough, little miss and I rolled out the dough so we could use a cookie cutter, shoe chose a heart shape for the pups.

We got about 30 little treats, and baked them at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

I’m storing mine right on my counter in an air-tight glass container. The pups love them, they were super easy and fun to make, plus they were really in-expensive. Dog treats tend to cost just as much as the dog food, yet come with very few pieces.

These treats were baked with love.
