Little miss and I headed out early today to start our adventuring. Our first and only planned stop was the Lancaster Flea Market which is open every Sunday. I typically do not post about things if I don’t feel positively about it. In this case, I don’t want to bash, I just simply want to inform. The Lancaster Flea Market, is not worth the twenty-minute drive (from my house) or the $2 admission fee. What I saw there should not be labelled a Flea Market. Honestly it was a sad yard sale. I encourage you to do your homework before spending a lot of time and energy before you plan to go to a Flea Market.
After that disappointment, little miss and I just drove around and ended up passing the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge in Sudbury, MA. It’s acres, and acres of land, pond and wetland that you are allowed to bike or hike. Little miss and I walked around for a bit just looking at nature and spending time talking.
At one point her and I sat on a dock over look the pond, listening to the toads jump around in the water. It was so peaceful and serene.
