Antique Garage, NYC

While I was in NYC and shopping down in SOHO we stopped in this really cute little restaurant. Antique Garage was packed full of antiques. The furniture, plates, decorations. It was so quaint and sweet. I had a pot of tea, which came out in a tea pot and it was made with loose tea leaves. It was strong and bold and Delicious. For food I got a special. It was arugula salad with goat cheese wrapped prosciutto that had been grilled. It was crunchy, and creamy and warm. Honestly one of the best salads I have ever eaten. Simple concept, made with high quality food. They way things should be.

Having a real pot of tea here makes me want to go buy a real grownup tea set. I will need to look into it. Teabags just do not compare.

I also want to stock my new house with plates and cups just like this.
